The Active MatrixTM adds the ability to utilize virtually every CAD format available today, including native CATIA V4 and V5, ProE and Unigraphics. Models can be viewed and prepared for measurement utilizing the Native CAD file. Coupled with the DCC Coordinate measuring system and the Renishaw PH-10 indexable probing system we can inspect the most complex model based features. Customer supplied data points with vector data can be used as inspection criteria on parts with complex surfaces.

Unigraphics NX4 CAD/CAM System Merco Manufacturing has recently upgraded to Unigraphics NX4 CAD/CAM system. This new system allows operation in the “Solids Environment” and expands Merco’s integration capabilities with Digital Product Definitions (DPD). “Customer definitions created in Unigraphics are integrated seamlessly with our engineering, manufacturing and inspection processes using NX4,” explains Daryl Rossman, president of Merco Manufacturing. “This capability greatly enhances our manufacturing efficiency and significantly reduces the possibility of translation errors.” Merco Manufacturing can translate most standard CAD/CAM file formats including: CATIA, Parasolids and Iges.
